I've got tiny dark yellow crocuses blooming! I saw them first yesterday, yet the day before there were only shoots and the day before that only a patch of dirt. It's amazing how a little sun and warmer weather can change things so quickly! Only 4 little blooms and later in the day I found Luna had stepped on 2 of them while digging a big deep hole in the freshly dug and weeded soil just outside the bed. (I am expanding the flower bed slightly to round it out and level the lawn around it for easier mowing.)

Today the flowers had recovered and a few more were budding but it was 12 degrees colder than yesterday so they never really opened up. At least I assume it was due to the cold.
