Yesterday the little kid up the street from my neighbor's wandered over to their place while they were out and opened all the doors and left them open allowing all 4 dogs, including mine who were spending the day, out for a romp. When I got home I found Rocket and Luna in the yard. Apparently, they came right home and DH locked them up. But Yogi and Tank went exploring and ended up across town at their "aunt's" home.

Having experienced massive freedom yesterday, Yogi has the wanderlust again and today while walking Rocket, Luna and Yogi in my woods Yogi took Luna off with him "somewhere." I had suspicions that it was to the aunt's house again and got in my car with Rocket and we went looking. I also drove back to my neighbor's; no sign. But on the way back home there was Luna only one house away from my dirt road. I stopped the car and called and she looked around totally confused. She seemed to have no idea that it was me in the car until I got out. She ran over, I had to grab her collar and drag her into the backseat with Rocket.

Yogi had turned up at his aunt's but Luna was not with him. I suspect she turned around early. For now though, Yogi is staying home for a few days as punishment. Otherwise they'll run off again tomorrow.
