Cold and windy today, an inch of snow over night but not the 3-6 inches the weathermen were talking about. I'm sure it happened to somebody in Michigan, but not me. I'm tired of the cold snow, it is April, I do have a few crocuses blooming as I mentioned the other day so it's time for winter to be OVER. I know by November I'll be looking forward to it again as the deer flies, horse flies and mosquitoes will have driven me and the pups crazy long before. But for now, winter can "GO AWAY!!!"

In the meantime my kayak sits in the garage, thoughts of grilling chicken on my future gas BBQ are just that, thoughts, (how can I buy a grill when there is snow on the ground? It seems wrong.) I'm now trying to decide what shirt to sew for myself next, something nice and cool for the eventual WARM WEATHER. I've got 3 patterns with numerous variations and four pieces of material. But for now it's easier to sit up here in my loft with the space heater running trying to warm up after walking the pups. I got very chilled and think I need a sweater on top of this turtleneck I am wearing. Spring seems very far away.
