Mike and Rim and my friend who has been in Florida all winter popped over this afternoon to take a look at my new kayak. My friend was suitably impressed. Luna and Mikey romped and wrestled and had a great time. Mikey is an English Setter so they are similar in size. Rim, a Brittany Spaniel is the elder statesman and mainly had his nose to the ground following the myriad squirrel trails all over the yard. He had a good time, too.

Rocket was extremely happy to see my friend, he was all awiggle and begging for biscuits as usual. Tomorrow we will probably walk over to their house for another visit. We went there today but they were out of town getting a training collar for Mikey. He competes in bird dog field trials and got a third place last weekend down in Ionia, MI on their way back home for the summer. Rim is retired from competition. It's nice to have ones friends back again.
