RUBY/SAPPHIRE BALLS FOR LASERS
A family of 99.9 percent alumina oxide ruby/sapphire balls is designed for use in optical and light refractive applications such as lasers.
Available in precision grades up to Grade 10, the balls are comparable in hardness to alumina ceramic. Features include anti-corrosion properties, high surface smoothness, thermal stability, chemical inertness, and lubrication-free operation. A variety of colors is available.

ALUMINUM QUICK-DISCONNECT COUPLINGS
Quick-disconnect FL Series couplings deliver high flow and low pressure drop in a compact package.
Designed to replace cumbersome ball and sleeve couplings, the units perform the same job with half the weight and require less force to connect and disconnect. Both 3/8 and 5/8 in. nominal flow capacities are available with hard anodized aluminum construction, fluorocarbon seals, and stainless springs. The units tolerate operating pressures up to 80 psi or 5.5bar and operating temperatures up to 300°F.

CORROSION-RESISTANT CERAMICS
AmAlOx alumina, AmZirOx 86 yttria-stabilized zirconia, and ZTA-96 zirconia-toughened alumina ceramics offer engineers cost-effective alternatives to conventional engineering materials.
The alumina ceramic exhibits good wear and corrosion-resistant properties, and the zirconia alumina materials offer strength and toughness. AmAlOx components are suitable for applications in virtually every major industry including chemical process equipment, paper product, aerospace, and robotics. AmZirOx 86 and ZTA-96 absorb the energy created by stress that would cause fracture in most advanced ceramics.

CUSTOM PVC PLASTICS PRODUCTION
Custom plastic production from initial product planning and design to production of the finished piece provides a single source for customer plastic need at an economical price.
From concept to completion, the service offers an array of capabilities including horizontal injection molding, sheet and profile extrusion, coextrusion, and vacuum forming. An experienced engineering department provides product conceptualization and development assistance with technical expertise and state-of-the-art computer-aided drafting. The large staff can meet the needs of any size project with one-on-one service.

INDUSTRIAL DISPENSE PUMPS
IDS 2000 industrial dispense pumps dispense and meter fluids used in chemical, electronics, battery, metal finishing, and other industrial process environments requiring maintenance-free, precision fluid control.
The integrated pump and electronics are housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure designed for wall mounting in process areas. The electronics feature precision stepper motor control, multiple dispense and continuous modes, indicator lights, and PLC interface. The patented CeramPump valveless design with only one moving part, a single rotating and reciprocating piston made of dimensionally stable chemically resistant ceramics, eliminates valves that can clog, fatigue, and fail.

SELF-CLINCHING DOG POINT STUDS
PEM Type HFED self-clinching dog point studs allow high-strength attachment of steel or aluminum sheets as thin as 0.04 in/1 mm.
These threaded steel studs are designed to install more quickly and economically than weld studs. The enlarged head diameter projects above the sheet material and distributes axial tightening force over a large area for better pull-through resistance. The dog point feature ensures quick nut positioning and assembly while protecting first threads from damage. Unified and metric thread sizes #10-32, º-20, and 5/16-18 and M5, M6, and M8 are available in lengths of 0.5-2 in. and 20-30 mm.
