This is our mule Buttons. Buttons came to us in the most unusual way. We were looking at a farm to buy and was checking out the barn. I was looking over the stalls and found her laying in the back of one of them. The owner was as surprised as I was. He stated because he was selling the farm and had no way of taking care of her we could just have her. We took her home in the back of a pickup truck laying down with her head across our son Chris's lap. She was almost dead from dehydration. But with a lot of TLC and help from other farmers we brought her back. She was only appr. 2-3 days old when we got her home. The mare had abandoned her. She is now a healthy 8 years old.
