Rompford Gee Wilikers Beauregard CD
Beau, our rescued dog, was our first dalmatian. We worked long and hard to rehabilitate him. Like many rescued dals, Beau had severe socialization problems. It took several years of resocialization before we could bring him around other dogs with out fear of an aggressive outburst. It was also an upward battle to reintroduce him to people and try and over come his untrusting nature.
We did however achieve partial success. Though I would never trust Beau alone with a new dog or with new people, he is a very loyal companion. At the age of three he completed his CD in three out of four trials. Beau is now working towards his CDX. Retrieving is not an instinct that comes easy to Beau, but we have taught him to retrieve. We hope to compete sometime in 2000.
Unfortunately Beau passed away this Spring. He is missed very much by us and all those that knew him.
