Memories To Tell

We laughed, we cried, we bonded together Though our lives, much like stormy weather We shared our dreams, beyond minds measure And all those times, and memories I'll treasure

Our lives once shared, our paths then parted But nothing stopped, the friendship we started We often went months and years unspoken Our friendship intact, That is lifes token!

But then the news, and those words I heard That your life had ended, seemed so absurd I never thought, this soon I'd say goodbye But onto heaven, you must now fly

And as you fly, to the glorious light There's now only peace, from this lifes fight Now with these words, I bid my farewell You'll always be with me, with memories to tell
