with a little exta effort.)  Here are some tips to help the process go faster.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Get the PetzDebug from <A HREF="http://www.dmwright.com/oddpetz/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.dmwright.com/oddpetz/"><U>Odd Petz</U></A>.  It will let you get rid of fleas or sickness and grow your petz to adulthood without messing with your computer's calendar or anything.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">If you have Petz 3 or 4, you can download converted versions of the breedz that were added in Petz 5 at <A HREF="http://www.dmwright.com/petz/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.dmwright.com/petz/"><U>the Petz Archive</U></A>.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Put a male and a female adult of your choice into a very empty, nondistracting playscene.  The Playpen or Desktop work well, or the Living Room with the mouse holes closed.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Leave your petz alone with a love potion bottle.  Most times, petz breed in the upper half and at center of the screen.  I don't know why, but that's what I've noticed...</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">If your petz are fighting or uninterested, spray them a few times with the love potion.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Alley catz can pretty much not breed, not the way that PF Magic made them.  It is because they are always sick and always have fleas.  The debugger cannot fix this.  If you want to breed Alley Catz, download the "flealess Alley Catz" from <A HREF="http://carolyn.thepetzwarehouse.com" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://carolyn.thepetzwarehouse.com"><U>Carolyn's Creations</U></A>.  They still act and sound like Alley Catz, but they aren't cursed with eternal sickness.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Persians and Chinchilla Persians tend to fall asleep all the time, even without being tired.  This doesn't hinder breeding as much as the alley cat problem does, but Carolyn has a fix for them too.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Always have backups of your petz in a folder or on a disk, so if they get corrupted or a stuck pregnancy, you won't lose them.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To avoid stuck pregnancies, as soon as your petz are pregnant, put them away and minimize (don't close) the game.  Forward the date on your computer two days.  Then restore the window and bring out your petz.</div> ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Carolyn's</U></A> modified .exe file for Petz 5 allows two mothers to be out at the same time and can really come in handy.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Mothers always lose a lot of weight after giving birth, so feed them a lot or use the debug to bring their weight back up before using them for showing or something else.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
