Raveen Kats

You jeer to the left path, a thin grass trail that is lined with shrubs and berry bushes. As you traveled down it, the shrubbery gave way to tall, dense forest trees on either side with only a foot path to guide your way. It seemed endless and became more and more difficult to follow, thinning out all the while. When you felt like you've lost it, a hint of worn and trampled ground leads you back on track.
Traveling for about 15 minutes, the path opened up suddenly to a wide clearing where a silvery pond snaked along the left side. There's mist coming off of it and the trees themselves, were different from the rest. Staring, you focus your eyes on the pond first.
As the breeze came gently down, the leaves whispered harmonically and silvery blue fish jumped out of the water. They were accompanied by purples and pinks as different kinds of fish swam under its surface and a few small frogs also lined the bank. May tiny mammals romped amongst the trees and an otter calmly cracked open an clam with a stone on his tummy, while the music of various birds rang in your ears, drawing your gaze upward.
White birds flecked in turquoise with bright yellow beaks flew down like a storm of feathers and scales. Most of the flock contained a tiny pink or purple fish in their beaks after the dive. Duskringers, brilliant blue birds that flashed purple in the moon's gleam, sang in the canopy. Their song was embellished by the melody of black finches whose feathers bore pink and cyan markings with purple eyes. They would change their song constantly in competition for females, making the music dazzle in your head.
Overhead, Other various birds flew about, chirping and singing happily. Moondancers flew high, only to spiral down in large groups, opening their wings to reveal vibrate reds, oranges and yellows. Before colliding with forest floor, they would rise once again beyond the clouds with their creamy yellow and dark blue back feathers and start the whole process over again. Sunbirds took the Moondancers place during the day and bore brilliant blues, cyan, and purples on their under wings.
Next, you turn your head to admire the wide clearing in front of you. It is filled with beauty and covered with a layer of mist that overlapped the pond's edge; the moon left a hazy and mysterious look to it. You walk out a bit and around you are Dreamcatchers!!! They are of many sizes and made of turquoise, purple, or white leather.
You caught sight of one that 3-4ft long and has 2 bundles of feather at its base! Staring at its fine craftsmanship, something moves in the mist below this wonder. You walked closer to the swirling mist, peering down at the spot for find its contains. A 'chree' sounded in your ears as a mimic flew out from the mist to inspect you. He was black with light blue wings, that of the dream element. You knew now that his bonded wouldn't be far behind as he sniffed your hair and trilled.

Flying back to the large dreamcatcher, he let out a melodic sound and purple orbs fell upon you. They where mysterious purple eyes that contained no pupils, set in a black face with light blue feather markings falling from them. The owner lifted its head out of the mist and sniffed the air once, and then smiled warmly at you. A hum filled your mind, that was obviously feminine. She got up and stretched but cautiously with a glance back under that large object and standing protectively in front of it. The being let out a long yawning as she did; she must have been sleeping until her mimic awoke her.
Getting a closer look at her figure, she was a raveeness with stunning light blue markings, which upon further inspection, where dreamcatchers! On her turquoise necklace were two feathers that dangled from it and white feathers came from her earrings. The mimic nuzzled her and curled up between her shoulder blades as she watched you, curiously. The femme was filled with beauty the clearing couldn't possess and a sense of calmness came from her. Something about this feline held mystery which only your dreams contain.
She smiled at you as you stare in awe and a harmonic sound echoed gently in your head. Greetings and welcome to my home. I am Kasumi Kioku, but do call me Kasumi. I'm of the dream element as is my mimic, Yume. May I ask why you cross upon these lands?

You appear confused for a moment at the new version of sound but quickly adjusted. You tell her you were just passing through and she smiles at you. That is no problem was the music that wasn't heard by your ears. There is a path on the other side of this clearing that should suit your purpose. Have a safe trip back to your realm.
With this Kasumi warmly smiles one last time and then peers back behind her again. Kasumi hums a soft lullaby as light grey eyes poke out of the mist and tilt to the side upon seeing you. They are tiny and most likely that of a cub as a black head rises to reveal a light blue feather dangling naturally from each cheek. The adult dream smiles fondly and looks back at you. This is my daughter, Maštati. She is also a dream.

The little femme bows her head sweetly at her name and then places her gentle yet ever mysterious gaze upon her mother. Mama a soft and sugary tone sounded in your mind from the cub. May we go now? Tati was very polite for a babe but didn't inherit her mother's musical voice. A fluffy black tail waved one or twice above the silvery mists from behind Tati and you stared in awe at it as well; her parents must still be proud. The mother nodded tenderly to her young and vanishes into the mist. Kasumi's mimic chirped to you from somewhere before the only sounds where those of the wildlife once more. Still thinking about your encounter, you took the older female's advice and trotted out along a winding path downward.
