| "Why don't more assistants know about the state scholarships and grants offered by Granite State college or from the state of NH for that matter? My employer, Nathalie Ouellette (The owner of Lil' Angel's Family Daycare) told me about them and I got a 100% scholarship for a 4 credit ECE course at Granite State college to help me better understand the children I care for and to better understand their needs. I chose to do so as I begin working towards my associates degree in ECE. I never see any other "family child care assistants" attending these courses...and it's a shame. I hope those that read this, begin to ask their employers about the wonderful opportunities we have available to us simply because we are working the this field". | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
