Last Modified Oct. 5, 2000 An after-school music/fine arts program has been opened to homeschoolers at Summit Christian Academy.  Instruction is available for saxophone, trombone, violin, oboe, flute, and cello.  They also are forming a marching band drum corps to play at games and parades.  The instruction is given in small groups of two to six students.  The lessons are only $8 weekly and take place at Summit Christian Academy in Newport News, VA.  The instrument must be supplied by the student.  Children as young as fourth grade may begin instruction for some instruments.  For more information call Jeff Hillman 874-3754.
