Elections 2004
Welcome to my web site. I hope you plan to vote in the upcoming 2004
election. Many people are anticipating that the election will be very
close, and I think they may be correct. So, if you care, try your very best
to show up and fill out your ballot. Even if you think your state is
not a close race for either Presidential candidate, you need to go vote,
because the total popular vote might be considered by the Supreme Court
or by the House of Representatives, should the election be that close.
Perhaps, though, you are in the same boat as many other
people - you care and would like to vote, but don't like the candidates who
are running for President, and perhaps Congress as well. While I can't
offer an elixir, I would suggest you think for a minute or two on the
following issues, and then browse my web site and the Internet. It might be
worth going to vote on local elections and referendums that you haven't
heard about.
Ask yourself:
- What do I care about?
- What does our society need?
- What does our country need?
- What do I value?
- What is most important?
