List of Europeans recorded as having gone to Caughnawaga and stayed.
- Eunice Williams, daughter of Rev. John Williams, minister of Deerfield,
and Eunice ?, captured in the raid on Deefield in 1704. She was brought to Caughnawaga
where she converted to Catholicism. She was said to about 7 or 8
years old. She married a Native American man, and he and their children
adopted the surname Williams.

- Joanna Kellogg, daughter of ?, captured in the raid on Deerfield on
28-29 February 1704. She was said to be about 11 years old.
She married a Caughnawaga chief and became Native American "by adoption."

- John and Zechariah Tarbell, captured when boys at Groton.
Became Indian chiefs Caughnawaga. One of them later founded the mission at
St. Regis.
