Welcome to

Mr. Franko's 2003-2004

Class Rules

Concept and design:
A. McQueen c.1996; revised 02/2004 KMF

I've established this page to assist students in my math classes and their parents. Please feel free to contact me with any suggestions, questions or observations.

Math Department Office: Room 105
Math Department Detentions: Room 437 2:30 - 3:00

BE ON TIME

Be in the room, in your seat ready to work when the bell rings. The first tardy will result in a warning. The second through fourth tardies will result in a 15 minute after school detention for each tardy. In addition, there will be a parental contact on the third tardy. The fifth tardy results in an administrative detention referral.

BE PREPARED

IDs must be worn and be visible at all times. Have your materials with you in class. Materials include, but are not limited to the following: books, notebook, homework, writing utensil, calculator etc... The student will be given the option to return to his/her locker and get the needed materials and take a tardy or take a zero on any work they are unable to produce or complete due to lack of materials. Habitual behavior will result in a parental contact and administrative detention.

BE RESPECTFUL

Show respect to yourself, your peers, your elders, and all property. Things considered to be disrespectful include, but are not limited to the following: use of abusive language, disruptions such as unnecessary talking, shouting, throwing of objects, insubordination, sitting on desk tops, tables, window sills, putting your feet on tables or chairs, writing on desks, etc.... Failure to be respectful will result in a verbal warning, possible detention, parental contact, and referral to the office.

ADHERE TO ALL SCHOOL RULES

See the student handbook (i.e. phones, hats, dress code,

food and drink, CD/MP3 players, etc...)
