The Delta Delta Pi sorority is famous for their baked goods. Their most famous, of course, are their Delta Delta Pies. What they are less known for is the fact that men enter their house, and never come out again... Here's an interesting quote: "She ate a penis!" I think this line basically sums up the mood of this movie. Slightly nasty, but oh-so-hilarious. Honestly, I had no idea popping this movie in that it would be as awesome as it is, Julie Strain aside. The third of Devin Hamilton's movies (Bleed, Birth Rite), Delta Delta Die! comes through in the places where the others fell short. This movie has funnier dialogue, better actors and sets (suggesting higher budget), and more Julie Strain. Delta Delta Die! is hilarious. Where else can you see drunk hookers, frat boy blood shakes, and a once pretty blonde girl doing her best Gollum impression in a basement. Plus there's quotes like "We could cook him and eat him" as the most rational idea for how to get rid of a body. In one of the refreshingly frequent scenes of Julie's ass-kickery, she states, "I'll grind your balls to make my lunch." Delta Delta Die!, unlike most of the movies we've been seeing, is a B horror movie with a good sense of humor. In the past, Devin Hamilton has given us the head explodee death in Bleed, as well as the toilet death and virtual incest from Birth Rite. In this film, though, he cuts loose and gives us everything we want to see: hot chicks kicking frat moron ass. I can't wait to see what he's got for us next.
