Lynda Carter -- TV's "Wonder Woman"

THREE CHEERS FOR THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE!!

This classic -- nearly perfect -- specimen of the "jiggle TV" genre that dominated the '70s survived for three years on very little more than the considerable strength of Ms. Carter prancing around in a star-spangled girdle and go-go boots. Who knows? If the show had been a little better-written, it might have outlasted Gunsmoke.

I'm not embarrassed to admit that Lynda Carter was a huge part of my adolescence (well, two huge parts of my adolescence, really)! When Lynda was 25 and doing "Wonder Woman," I was 14, and spending a lot of time in the bathroom with the water running, thinking about "doing" Wonder Woman!

Even today, almost 25 years later, I sometimes pop a tape into the ol' VCR just to watch my favorite Amazon Princess in all her wigglin', jigglin' glory!

Are you sorry that you missed out on your chance to marry Lynda? Does it sicken you to think about that shifty, weasley Altman guy (Oh, sure, he was acquitted, but so was O.J. Simpson!) getting her all to himself?

Would you like to have a Lynda Carter of your very own?
