March 21 we started our
trip to Ilocos Norte, Me and my husband Errol and kids, also Nanay, Susan,
Pheng and Tikong
are with us. We arrived the next day in my fathers hometown around 7am,
Princess my niece is getting ready to school. The
whole group sent Princess to school. That was fun.

While were on the way back
home I started taking pictures. My first shot was the Sinking Bell
Tower. |
This 45 meter high bell tower
is one of the tallest edifice built in the country. A landmark in the
city's skyline, the bell tower was constructed by the Augustinian
friars several hundred years ago. The sinking tower is a unique
landmark of Spanish occupation in the Philippines. When the tower was
newly erected, a man on horseback can pass through its door freely.
Today, a man in ordinary height could hardly pass without stooping.
What strike many observers is the peculiarity of its distance from the
church - it is 85 meters away from the church - a very rare position
among Spanish Church edifices. |

The San Nicolas Church.
The Roman Catholic Church was built by the Augustinian friars in 1703,
making it
centuries-old like most catholic churches in the province.
It is situated beside the Sta. Rosa Academy, near the town plaza and
municipal hall of San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. We went to Batac to
visit Balay Ti Ili
(
ancestral house of the Marcoses). We saw late President Marcos
in the Mausoleum( well his remains really
look like wax. Picture taking are not allowed. |

The rest are the pictures from
my brother Toto house.

After lunch we went to a
running water lake the whole gang was there plus Toto's family

The next day we went to Saud Beach in Pagudpud
but when we reach there the guard says its full already aside from that
its not allowed to cook food. Sucks!! Well we decided to go to the next
beach i cant remember the name but it was beautiful white sand too.
We didnt stay longer there coz something happen that ruin my day...
Sucks!!!!

The next day is our trip to
Baguio. Marife is our tour guide. She knows the way around in Baguio, she
knows the place we were gonna be stayin. Our Trip from Ilocos Norte to Baguio
takes about 6 to 7 hours... We rode Philippine Rabbit. Too much traffic
starting from La Union. Whew!
also the bus we were into got engine trouble hay!!!

Pictures are taken from
Mines View Park. It was Friday and Holy Week and President Macapagal
and Salbakuta was there too!!!
