 Asedillo

The most memorable of the earlier films of Celso Ad Castillo is a true-to-life story of a Southern Tagalog rebel in the 1920's. The story focuses on Asedillo, a school teacher-turned-rebel who led discontented elements against landlords and bureaucrats during the American colonial period.
