 DREAM WEAVERS

Dream Weavers is a documentary video on the T’boli of Lake Sebu, an indigenous people living in South Cotabato in southern Philippines. A people renowned for their artistry, are among the few indigenous groups that have kept their artistic traditions alive, inspite of incursions from the lowlands. But it is a constant struggle, for modernity relentlessly impinges on their lives and continues to lure the young T’boli away from tradition.

Fruto Corre. Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production, New York University Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program in 1994 through a Fulbright Fellowship and a study grant from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and Asian Cultural Council. He is presently in-charge of the Film Education and Production Program of the University of the Philippines Film Center.
