LUCIA

| Produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation, this film was shown in several festivals abroad but has never been shown on the big screen in the Philippines. It follows the story of a Filipino Family who has been dislodged from their fishing village due to an oil spill in the sea. They go from one poor place to the next, finally ending up in Smokey Mountain. The film serves as an allegory of the homeless Filipino family, which eventually finds strength and roots in its own humility.
