Nena traces a young nightclub dancer's transformation from victim to victor under an oppressive patriarchy. Directed by Ike Jarlego, Jr., a multi-awarded film editor, the film received the Young Critics Circle's Best Picture and Best Screenplay citations. It was also nominated in the Best Editing category for the fine work of editor Marya Ignacio.
