were married by me in St. Anthony's Church, Strathcona on the third day of May 1911.
The witnesses were H.L. Bender and Mrs. Jas. Forthier(sp?) both of Strathcona.
This marriage has been duly registered in the Parish Records and the Government Vital Statistics office.

BILL - Mrs. Jessie Loretta Irene Bill of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Saturday, December 5, 1987 at the age of 95 years. Jessie was born on April 1, 1892 at Brighton, Ontario. She was one of the early pioneers coming West with her parents to homestead at Lake Wabamun in 1902, when Alberta was still part of the North-West Territories. She was united in marriage to William James Bill in 1911. They farmed in various parts of Alberta, including Knee Hill Valley, and Huxley, for a number of years. They then moved to Vancouver in 1922 and returned to Red Deer in 1933 where the family have resided ever since. For the past three years Jessie has been a resident of the Red Deer Nursing Home.
She is survived by five sons: Charles and his wife Verna of Red Deer, John of Calgary, Edward "Ted" and his wife Pat, Richard "Dick" and his wife Win, and Joe and his wife Elaine all of Red Deer; four daughters: Mary, Gwen and Helen and her husband Mac all of Calgary, and Marjorie and her husband Charles of Sidney, B.C.; a son-in-law: George Wellens of Calgary; thirty-five grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William; a daughter, Elsie; a daughter-in-law, Alice; and sons-in-law, Arnold and Alec.
She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 48 Avenue, Red Deer, on Wednesday, December 9, 1987 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend D. MacDonnell Celebrant. Internment will follow in the Red Deer Cemetery.
