~Decorative Stationery~

~Materials~

pale wrapping paper
scissors
tracing paper
glue (white)
sheet of white paper

~Directions~

  1. Cut out a rectangle of wrapping paper to the size of the writing paper, and cut a piece of tracing paper the same size. Stick the tracing paper on top of the wrapping paper. (prior to applying a thin layer of glue all over the wrapping paper and spread evenly with a small brayer) smooth out all bubbles. Use a black, felt tip marker to write your letter...or leave blank and make a few more sheets.
  2. If you have a bit more time you could select a motif from the wrapping paper and cut this out.
  3. Glue the motif to a sheet of white paper.
  4. As before, glue a sheet of tracing paper on top to give an elegant, double layer effect.  You can make a collection of stationery just from one sheet of fancy wrapping paper.
