Silvery white hair with bright garnet eyes and a very fair complexion. Large scar on right cheek that curves from his mouth to his eye. Quite femininely featured. Dilandau is the villain of The Vision of Escaflowne. There are other villains too -- Dornkirk, general Adelfos, and even Folken for the beginning of the series -- but Dilandau is the villain. And it's my personal thoughts he's the best anime villain ever. Dilandau is completely original. There are other anime characters out there who do share some personality traits with him, but from what I've seen, nobody is completely like him. Aaaeee! He's special! *^_^* Dilandau is, to put it in one word, a psychotic. And he makes nuttyness look cool! It's physically impossible to be any cooler than Dilandau. It's hard to figure out what's so cool about Dilandau though. I think it must be his personality. As usual, the villain is more interesting than the main character. He combines the fact he is a sadistic, mental killing machine, with a troubled past and present, and the fact you can't help but feel sorry for him.
