Some of the local ladies did some dances for us. The had to use an oil container for a drum because theirs had been eaten by mice. They were very embarrassed but danced anyway. They did the Shrimp Dance,  the Tapir Dance, the White Faced Monkey Dance and others. They were great. One of the women had her whole body, from the neck down , painted blue, a local cosmetic thing.
