Click on the Gray layer
and select as before.
Add a layer, name
it cutout. Now go to Image/
Effects/Cutout.
Turn off all layers
except the Gray and the Cutout.... Merge Visable.
Now Go to Eye Candy
and apply the Glass.
Now Click on your Gray
layer and Add another layer. Name this layer
Body. Go to
Selections/Load from Disk and open goosebody.sel.
Flood fill with white.
Deslect. Click on your Mover tool and posistion
the body on the base.
This layer should be under the base, if not,
Drag it under the
base layer.
Add a layer and name it Cutout. Go to Image/Effects/Cutout.
Turn off all layers
except the body and cutout.. Merge Visable and rename
this layer Body.
With the body still selected.. Now go to Image/
Effects/Inner Bevel.
Now Apply Eye Candy / Glass
Remember to play around and get the look YOU want.
Now Add a New layer
and Name it Beak. Go to Selections/
Load from Disk...find
your goosebk.sel.
Flood fill the beak
with a yellow/orange color. Deselect and position
your beak onto the
body.
Select the beak... Add a layer, name it cutout.
Now turn off all layers
except the Beak and cutout... Merge Visable.
Now add a new layer
and with your paintbrush paint a nostrol on your
beak. I used
these settings.
Selecting the nostrol... apply an inner bevel.
Now add a drop shadow....turn
off all layers except the beak and nostrol.
Merge Visable.
Rename this layer Beak. Now select the beak and add
a drop shadow.
Now Add Eye Candy / Glass.
Now click on the Body
layer....Add a layer name it eye. Click on preset shapes
and select circle...filled....antialias
checked...with black or the eye color of your
choice. Draw
a small circle on your head for the eye. Select the eye and go to
Image/Effects/Inner
Bevel and apply the same settings as on the nose.
Now add a drop shadow to the eye.
Deselect.
