Forget the frilly pastels of last year's warm seasons. This year, it's all about juicy brights, in citrus hues (lemon, lime, orange, tangerine, even a dash of ruby red grapefruit)! They're the perfect reflection of what summer's all about--not to mention they'll make you feel so sweet and fresh!

Even if you're not normally one to wear such bright colors, you still can--they truly do look good on everyone (but a tan does help)! Sew brightly colored satin ribbons onto your normal-colored clothes--pink and white look great with citrusy tones. Try a handbag with punchy color stripes, like Paris carried to the 2003 BET Awards. Or you can try a muted, pastel version. (Translated: orange=salmon/coral, yellow=pale yellow, green=sage or mint.)

Citrus sparkle! The brightly colored cocktail rings above really caught my eye. What a great way to accent the colors you've chosen for clothing! You can also try those glitter gummy bracelets in citrus shades, stacked on top of each other.

Vicki's Limeade Recipe
In the summer, everyone seems to like lemonade--I love it too, but I prefer limeade!

You Will Need:
*About 4-5 limes
*A hand juicer
*Knife
*Pitcher
*1 cup water per lime
*1/4 cup sugar per lime

1. Cut your limes in half and squeeze all the juice you can out of them--it takes some wrist-work!
2. Pour all the lime juice into your pitcher.
3. Add water--start with a lesser amount than you think you need. Add more according to taste-tests!
4. Do the same thing with the sugar.
5. Stir and serve! Tip: For a "virgin" margarita-inspired drink, wet the rim of a glass and twist it into some salt on a plate. The flavors are delicious together!
