Vertical Disparity's Jim Moore!!
Now, here's a cool dude. You've seen him around: that calm, quiet guy with almost a mystical air surrounding him. Just what makes him tick? Well, we're not quite sure... But we DO aim to find out!
Jim was on an Elsinore 4-way team last season, "Elsinore Vibe", and came to Vertical Disparity with absolutely glowing recomendations! VD scooped him up, and we think Duffy and Heather might still be a little ticked off about that one! And, little by little, we've been gaining some more insight into this marvelous character, and we think you'll be pretty damn shocked to hear what he has to say.
Q: So, Jim, you look like a fairly young, agile kinda guy, but we know you've been skydiving almost since dirt! About how many jumps do you have?
A: Around 2300, I think, but I can't read my handwriting, so that's just a guess. Is this a 9 or a Q??
Q: I don't know... Almost looks like a little sperm! So, what do you like doing 8-way?
A: There's lots of people there! Almost twice as many as in 4-way!
Q: And, why do you compete?
A: For the drugs!
Q: I beg your pardon??!!
A: You know, for the adrenaline!
Q: Uh, yeah, of course! Well, I know it's early in the season, but do you have a favorite block?
A: Not yet, really. I think I've only done two so far! This El Nino crap is really cramping our style! But I like compresseds, so whenever we get to do those, I'm happy. If this weather ever clears, maybe we'll get to do one someday!
Q: So, what was your most memorable skydive?
A: Ah, yes!! That would undoubtedly be my eliptical crew over the beaches in Puerto Pensco with Stu McCarther. Simply awesome.
Q: Weren't you featured in one of Norm Kent's video's? Or was that a Bond stunt?? Well, moving right along, do you have any profound thoughts on skydiving???
A: (after much thought)Ya gotta love the women!!
