Mission Impossible

Mission Impossible

This climb is very athletically oriented. It starts with either a short pull to a letter box under the roof, right of the large nose, or a traverse following a small hand crack on the left of the nose to the right under the nose and up to a letter box. To the point, which these two meet, make a few moves upward, and move left onto the knob. Climb up a few moves and approach the crux. This move, a traverse right, is very hairy. Click the crux for an explanation. After the crux, the moves are trick, but accomplishable. Make small conservative moves up the face. The last moves are quite hard. These last two moves may possibly be considered a second crux. This is accomplished by an undercling and a stance on a left foot with a flagging right foot. Finish to the right of the muddy bowl. Since the completion of this climb, I have begun to work on other climbs on this face, such as Temptation, 5.11a, and Wet Dreams, 5.10d/5.11a variations. Upon more attempts and completion of these climbs I will post these climbs in depth as well.
