Brian Slade was a beautific glam rocker of the 70's, who's alter ego, Maxwell Demon, was assinated on stage. Brian Slade's career crashed when fans found out the shooting was a fake. He disappeared into obscurity soon after, but journalist Arthur Stuart was assigned the task of finding out what happened to him.
CURT WILD
Curt Wild began his career with the Rats, but soon became famous on his own. Rumors that he was molested by his older brother, and then sent to Electro-shock therapy, made him all the more fascinating. His career was at a standstill when he hooked up with Brian Slade. They were linked romantically in the press, but soon the relationship soured. Curt appeared later at the Death of Glitter concert with Jack Fairy.
ARTHUR STUART
Captivated by the beautiful rock star, Brian Slade, as a teenager, Arthur began feeling strange urges. When his father caught him masterbating, he was thrown out of the home, and moved to London. There he met up with another glam band, and got back stage at the Death of Glitter concert. He spent a memorable night with Curt Wild that effected his life afterward. In 1984, he worked as a journalist and was asked to do a story on the disappearance of glamster Brian Slade. Digging up the past again, he finds the answers are even stranger than Maxwell Demon himself.
MANDY SLADE
Owner of the hot Sombrero Club in London, Mandy was an American transplant who emersed herself into the early glam scene. Meeting young Brian Slade in a bar, she was struck by his searing beauty, and the two hit it off. They married soon afterward and Brian's career began to take off when he found a new manager, Jerry Devine. Mandy stayed with Brian until after his phoney assassination, but soon the marriage failed with his career.
JERRY DEVINE
The loud, brash manager of Brian Slade, Jerry Devine knew how to make Maxwell Demon famous. He helped Brian to go into a producing contract with Curt Wild, and also told Brian to dump Curt when the latters talent faded. He was in on the assignation but never bothered to tell Mandy about it.
