Board of Commissioners
The Board of Commissioners is the governing
body of the Westwood Fire Department. The board consists of seven
members which are selected in the following manner:

Three members are appointed by the Boyd County Judge
Executive.

Two members are elected in an open election
and must be property owners within the fire district
-
Two members are elected by the members of the fire
department and must be active firefighters of the department

The Board of Commissioners meetings are held at the
Fire Department on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm.
The meetings are open to the public and citizens with any questions or comments about the department are welcome to attend.
