Maggie Maleeva |
|
Magdalena Maleeva has a talented base line game and has been ranked inside the top ten. Along with Huber, she was starting to play some great tennis. However, Maggie was traumatised by the Seles stabbing, as she was the Seles' opponent that day. She was playing well that day as she could have won the match in 3 sets.
Maggie Maleeva is the last of the Maleeva sisters. Manuella Maleeva Fragniere is the eldest sister and has made the semi finals of the US Open twice. The other sister is Katerina, herself a quarter finalist of the US Open. Maggie has not won a match against her sisters in professional tournaments. Maggie is the most talented of the sisters as she is more aggressive.
