Natasha Zvereva changed her name from Natalia to Natasha. She is a rebel, with a lot of controversy. She has the potential to be the biggest star in tennis, as she is talented, attractive and has a funny personality in which she can attract crowds.
At the 1995 Australian Open, she excited the crowd with huge fist pumps after skilled shots that she hit. She had fun in her singles Quarter final, walking around mimicking her opponent, Pierce. After an early round in the doubles, she lifted her shirt in a happy jest with the crowd.
Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to try in her singles matches. Against Coetzer in Sydney, Zvereva came back from 2-5 in the 3rd set to win 6-7 6-3 7-5. Zvereva was going to quit the match until she asked the umpire if she could play the doubles (her main priority) later that day. She continued, injured and played to a stunning victory. She can play some great tennis when she wants to.

Natasha Zvereva can improvise the best out of all the players. Her reflexes are amazing which makes her the best volleyer in the game. Her forehand and backhand are struck with lots of topspin. Her serve is attackable as it doesn't penetrate very well. She is the best doubles player in the world.
Zvereva caused her best result by defeating Graf and Seles both in straigh sets at Wimbledon. Graf had beaten Zvereva 17 straight times without loss yet Zvereva fought hard for a gutsy win. Her good form stopped after the 1st set in the Semi Finals which she only dropped 8 points. She nervously lost 1-6 7-6 6-3 to Tauziat. Zvereva came back from 2-5 in the 3rd set to beat Coetzer 6-7 6-3 7-5 in Sydney. Zvereva was going to quit the match until she asked the umpire if she could play the doubles later that day. She continued for a stunning victory. She defeated Appelmans at the Australian Open. Zvereva beat Spirlea at Indian Wells. Zvereva fell in the second round of the French Open to Majoli. She fell to Raymond at the US Open. She has reached the final of the doubles at Wimbledon, French, US and Australian Opens with Davenport losing in all four.
Zvereva won her third Australian Open in doubles, with Hingis. With her usual partner, Gigi Fernandez, she made the final of US Open and won their fifth French Open and fourth Wimbledon doubles titles. They were the best combination of the year for the fifth time in six years. In singles, she beat Davenport in Strasburg. Zvereva defeated Schultz McCarthy to reach the round of 16 at the French Open. At Filderstadt she wiped Martinez off the court 6-1 6-0, before losing to Hingis in a tight match 4-6 6-1 6-4.
Gigi Fernandez and Zvereva win the US Open, their only slam of the year. Ironically, they were disappointed with semifinal losses at the tournament in 1993 and 1994, where they were vying for the Grand Slam. They lost in a controversial quarter final at the Australian Open and lost a close semi final at Wimbledon. They made the final of the French Open for the fifth successive year. Zvereva suffered a rib fracture injury, and did not win a singles match until the French Open in which, she lost to Coetzer in 3 sets. At the Olympic games she got revenge in beating Coetzer 6-1 4-6 6-2. She finished the year ranked 53 in singles and 2 in doubles.
Gigi Fernandez and Zvereva won the French Open and US Open. Their matches against Novotna and Sanchez Vicario were interrupted at 4-4 all in the 3rd set in both the Australian Open and Wimbledon finals. They again could have won the doubles Grand Slam. Zvereva had a successful singles year in which she held her 8th seed, making the Quarter finals at the Australian Open. In the year's final tournament she beat Sabatini and Sanchez Vicario.
Gigi Fernandez and Zvereva won the Australian, French and Wimbledon slams and plenty of other tournaments. They lost in the Semi Finals as they did in '93 costing them the Grand Slam in tennis. Zvereva's singles ranking finished in the top 15.
In 1993, Gigi Fernandez and Zvereva won the Australian, French and Wimbledon slams and plenty of other tournaments. They had won the past 6 slam tournaments and looked good going to the US Open, only to lose in the Semi finals to Sukova and Sanchez Vicario 1-6 6-4 6-3. Sukova won the mixed and doubles slam and had her best ever tournament by reaching the singles final. Zvereva, who had a virus, made the singles quarter finals and played only 3 games against Sanchez, to save herself for the doubles. Zvereva also made the quarter finals at Wimbledon defeating Martinez and Garrion.
In 1992 Zvereva linked with Gigi Fernandez mid way through the year to win the French, Wimbledon and US Opens. They finished the year as the top pair. Zvereva made the Quarter Finals of the French Open in singles narrowly losing to Graf 6-3 6-7 6-3.
Zvereva made the round of 16 at Wimbledon in singles and won the doubles with Larisa Savchenco Neiland.
In 1990 Zvereva made the round of 16 at Wimbledon.
