Richard Krajicek is married to Daphaine Decherrs , an actor in some popular movies.  

Richard made a distasteful comment a few years ago at the '92 Wimbledon, by saying that 80% of the women players are fat lazy pigs. He has realised that was a bad comment and has not said anything bad about the women's game since. Richard has not fulfilled his potential, as he has been been plagued with injury. His knees and shoulders have given him much problem and has pulled out of many slams including the '92 Australian Open Semi final where he was due to play Courier.

Richard Krajicek has a booming serve, one of the best in the game. His backhand can be a terrific weapon when he attacks it.Iva Majoli produces terrific groundstrokes, with power and topspin. Her major improvement to her game is her volleys in which she has practiced in doubles matches. She has moderate success with doubles. Her second serve is a weakness, particularly in tight situations.

Krajicek won his first slam at Wimbledon, by defeating Stich, Sampras and Washington all in straight sets to take the title. He also reached the quarter finals of the French Open.
