What do you get when you cross an air roll
with a Christ air? Why, the Shroud of Turin of course (also called Shurin, thanks Disciple
#1.) This was a nice bowly left and was perfect for the move. It's probably no harder than
a standard Christ air. The move is initiated like a standard air roll. Once your body is
inverted, let go of the board and just let yourself unravel, leaving the board where it is
while continuing the roll motion. Then get the board back underneath you - this is the
hardest part of the move so give yourself plenty of time for this. Bonus style points are
given for the amount of time you can hold the crucifix position. Theological note: The actual Shoud of Turin supposedly shows the image of Jesus wrapped end to end, not wrapped sideways or rolled up. Thus a true manoeuvre of this name would be a combination of a Christ air with a forward flip. Hmmm, that gives me an idea... |
