The Exiles Rugby Football Club is comprised of military members from all four of the services and civilians stationed on Okinawa. We are currently the only American team in the Okinawa Rugby Football Union. The ORFU consists of 19 teams in three divisions, A,B,and C. The Exiles are presently in the B division. |

Our season runs year round and our schedule consists of Union matches, local tournaments (to include 10's and 7's), social matches, and some off-island tours. We currently are comprised of extremely varying experience levels from Div. 1 veterans to first practice rookies.
We practice Tuesday and Thursday at 1800 on Camp Lester on the field next to Kuwae Lodge. Games are always played on Sunday due to the six day work week of the Japanese. This puts a damper on socials after the matches, but we do our best to adapt and overcome. We invite anyone new and old to come join us (even if they have played softball in the past). Basically, our team's focus is on having fun and all those who come to practice and show committment are insured playing time. |
