What he is fighting for: His sister's revenge, for she was an unfortunate victim of Reiji Takatori's evil quest for political power. (Marcos style)
His Past in a glance: Once, he used to be a happy, even cumbersome teenager. His only friend was his sister, Aya-chan, and he was very protective of her. His life, however, was changed at a glance by the corrupted Takatori, and he opted to join the secret society Weiß to avenge his family's misfortune. Personality: Aloof, serious, and harsh. This cannot be entirely blamed upon Ran, however. His intensity and the quiet violence that is inside him is only a result of the tragedy that happened to him so long ago. If he felt that a part of himself was lost in that fateful March  evening, he certainly worked harder than needed to make up for that loss. It is but hard to imagine how life for a distraught teenager would be like, so obviously he needed something to let out all the bad energy inside him.
People that mean a lot to him: His recuperating sister, the real Aya. For her safety and her sake he fights. Also, another female friend he trusts, Sakura. Reiji Takatori means a lot to him too... if only Aya-kun could get close enough to mince and dice 'im for shitty good....
What you see him do most of the time: Brood around, non-smiling, but quick to frown and glare. Unlike the other 3, he doesn't give a damn if there are oggling girls or not.
Doesn't he remind you of:  Battousai Kenshin, only the other way around? Or doesn't he ring bells of Tokiya whenever he does the sideglance thing on the ending scene of the MTV of the 1st op song?
