MIXED FACTS...

Hi, I'm Shadoll, and I'll be occupying this little corner of the site all to myself. (Someday Burn, I shall invade you. Pag-huwat lang dinha...kadugayan dyud....) Anyways. I'm here to give just about any mixed facts about Weiß Kreuz, as there seems to be so much about them nobody knows about. (duh. that's what secret agents are there for.) Of course, I have taken some information out of other sites and other sources out of a multitude I can't possibly squeeze them all inside. ^.^ However, check the links section for hyperlinks to other cool  sites. If you've got any other cool facts about Weiss, please don't hesitate to e-mail me. (Other chronicles Burn and I have researched in our dusty 'ol school library in the heat of the Friday afternoon.... thank goodness Mdm. Abenio didn't suspect we were doing research for a secret agent society!!) Yeah yeah. Yada. Read on:

Did you know that...

*Aya/Ran Fujimiya, the Abyssinian, is the animated form of the Weiß Kreuz author (Takehito Koyasu-san) ? They custom-drew him to look like Ran. He even does Ran's voice both singing and acting. Kudos to such a talent!

*Non-fatal poisons such as sleeping antidotes and dizzy spell-elixers can be taken from just about any painkiller drugs and 'dipped' and dried into sharp point ends? That's how tribesmen capture their prey using arrows and bows only. That's how Omi makes you fall. (^_^ get the pun?)

*There used to be a real secret assassin organization early in the start of WW2. Of course, as all hidden underground groups are, they stay only as rumors nowadays, and all proofs of their existence were (sadly) erased. They were 5 deadly assassins who fought against the crimes of humanity done by the Gestapo during their time. During the day they were disguised as normal citizens in a town so famed for its eidelweiß (that's probably why they became florists!) but whenever they procured information about where the next town the Gestapo would invade, these 5 daring young men would get there ahead of time to evacuate and secure the citizens. Rumor has it that their group was called (by Spanish sources) "Sombra Negro" or the "Black Shadow". Their emblem was a straight cross (the color is still debatable since some claim they were colored white, others black, but a cross nonetheless,) which defied the twisted cross of the Swastika.

*Ken's weapon, the "BUGNUK", the claw-like thing reminicent of  X-men's Wolverine is considered an illegal weapon? It is a slight, more cruel evolution of the metal knuckle prohibited in boxing matches, and when the blade ends are dipped in sleeping gas or in other more deadly poison, it is fatal to the victim.

*Youji's weapon, the nylon-like blade string that Cammy of the anime series Street Fighter II uses  is a weapon that is convenient but needs a certain amount of skill for the weilder to use. Since it is light, and almost invisible and quite long, a less skillful weilder would end up choking and entangling himself instead. As the string can dig deep into the skin of both the weilder and the victim, it is adviseable to wear thick gloves when using them.

*"Ran" in literal Japanese means Orchid. Such a coincidence since he was destined to make a living in a flowershop.(I'll stop talking about him now--Burn's got the stahlruten!! )

*The stahlruten is a German whip that, when applied with skilled force, can splice cleanly through a person's head. (yuk.)

*A person can fall into a deep trauma after something drastic changes his/her life forever in a bad way. Trauma does not necessarily mean just sitting there for 365 days onward just staring at the sky and going, "Oh look, a bird!!" (like Mrs. Langley, Asuka's real mom.) but it can also come in a form of restlessness, of hatred, and violent reactions. That's probably why Ran is so like that. (uh-oh...)

*Roses symbolize a romantic, if lonely, personality. Cattleyas symbolize a delicate, and refined inner ego, ready to face the world.  Gentias represent gentle (as with the name...gentile) personality approachable with just about anyone from any walks of life, and Freesias indicate a carefree and innocent air.  Sort of reflects the identities of our 4 heroes, huh? ; )
