Another one. *sweatdrop* OK, OK!! So sue me if I like to write poems!! These guys just make perfect models of dramatic poems, OK?  Don't ask who this is attributed to. This guy's aura of mystery and pain seems such a wonderful canvas upon which to paint words. Forgive me. I'm letting go of myself.

Hiding

If  I lost my way among the crowds,
Will you be there to look for me?
If  I walked amidst a growing throng,
Would you see me among them, clearly?
If  I held my lantern in the darkness of the night
If  I picked up my sword(!) and continued to fight
Would you be there to see me through
Even as I fight for you?
If  I turned on you one rainy day
All in assumption of a spontaneous play
Would you believe in the cover up that you see
Or as a friend, believe in me?

As I hurt because I fear
And I struggle to control these tears
And as my comrades, you all who
Try to seek in me, what is true
Then stand with me and watch my back
With you as friends, what more do I ask?
As I continue my battles inside
So do I continue to hide.
