Crown Prosecution Service

The Crown Prosecution Service is now collecting evidence to assist them in deciding their future course of action. They have set up a help line number with Merseyside Police for anyone who wishes to make a complaint about organ retention. Anyone wishing to submit evidence should do so. The contact information is:

Jim Briscoe. Crime Management Unit. Merseyside Police. St. Anne's Street, Liverpool.
Telephone (0151) 777 4072.

We have been told that this will be a lengthy process and it may well be next year before anything is decided, so don't expect quick results.

PITY II (Parents who have Interred Their Young Twice) is the parents' support group set up in the wake of the organ retention scandal
at Alder Hey Hospital (Liverpool, UK). It aims to provide self help support and advice to affected families.
