Adjournment Debate in Parliament

The postcards that were sent to MP's by the PITY II membership were instrumental in obtaining an adjournment debate in Parliament on the 21st Nov.2001.

The debate surrounded disciplinary decisions on staff and doctors mentioned in the Redfern Inquiry Report. It was televised on the Parliamentary channel and a transcript of the debate is available for members.

PITY II (Parents who have Interred Their Young Twice) is the parents' support group set up in the wake of the organ retention scandal
