Alder
Hey Bereavement Care Service
In
the last 2 years Alder Hey has made great strides in improving the
bereavement support it offers. The Trust would like to give the opportunity
for parents, families and carers to visit the hospital and hear about
the bereavement care now in place, future developments, and the opportunity
to see the new family bereavement suites.
A number of visits
will be arranged in the near future, if you would like to come along
please contact the Bereavement Care Services on 0151 252 5117.

Note from PITY II
When the new bereavement suite was opened earlier in the year it was
acknowledged by Alder Hey that they had only received the funding
for these new facilities, because of what had happened to the many
families involved in organ retention.
