As we all know the space race was merely a cover for the imperialist expansion of the elitist and classist NSDF. This new colonial era, headed of course by the murderous United States of America, ushered in a new kind of warfare. Even after the horrible defeat of the CCA by the alien furies, the NSDF and its puppet companion NATO, continued their economic warfare, utterly destroying the Soviet Union, forcing the once proud nation back into the third world. This was but a prelude to the violence to come. In the early 1970's the alloy called "bio-metal" was all but exhausted. With the destruction of the bio-metal asteroid the last major source of this precious commodity was destroyed (see alternate number 3; Nightwing). The NSDF began mining the asteroid belt and expeditions were made to discover more of the metal. In addition, rumors persisted of an entire moon made of the alloy (see Mwrecker; Avatar) although these were dismissed as fantasy by most accredited observers.

Our strength is our people our people are strong… here we see one of our EZLN walkers in for repairs. Much of our equipment is either stolen or captured from the NSDF although the CCA has supplied us with equipment whenever they have the resources. Witness the present, the year 2004. The Imperialist NSDF and its NATO and United Nations components have renewed their war on the impoverished people of the world. The only sources of Bio-metal are now locked in the warehouses and silos of various fortunate nations. Once again, the struggle to dominate and exploit the resources of the world threatens to tear it apart. While the remnants of the glorious CCA attempt to maintain parity with the NSDF monster, many nations have obtained there own weapons vowing to resist the NSDF assimilationists. No longer will we, the holders of the people's trust stand idly by while the NSDF rapes and pillages our land and heritage. And so, we The EZLN, declare war on the NSDF.

The EZLN solider is battle hardened fighting the federalist army. He or she has seen the rape and murder of countless innocents and will give his or her life to avenge them.

We will never stop fighting the federalists and their NSDF masters until the people once again have dominion over their land. Tierra y Libertad!!

The NSDF supplied the federalists with the tiger tank in the early nineties in order to back up their anti poor NAFTA agreement. Many a valiant foot solder has lost his life fighting this beast.
