A frustrating day for Dunfermline against an Aberdeen side who played for the draw. After a nervy first couple of minutes, when nether side could string two or three passes together, Dunfermline almost made the breakthrough. A through ball to Seyni N'Diaye was almost slipped in, after good work from CRAWFORD, but Kjaer saved well. Dunfermline had a bit of a flurry after that, with many half chances coming their way. CRAWFORD almost scoring with a half volley. But the best chance of the first half fell to CRAWFORD. N'Diaye robbed McGuire of possession and played the ball to CRAWFORD. With the ball falling to his left foot Stevie blasted wide, when he really should of scored. After the break it was all a bit quiet, apart from a decent Darren Mackie header which went inches wide. CRAWFORD had one chance which could of won the game, when he brilliantly turned his marker and skipped through his marker, only to hit the side netting with his shot.
THINGS THAT PLEASED ME ABOUT STEVIE'S PERFORMANCE
Covered every blade of grass on the park in his free role position.
Was creating chances for himself out of nothing.
THINGS THAT ANNOYED ME ABOUT STEVIE'S PERFORMANCE
Sometimes dropped out of the game, and not seen for a while.
Was not beating his men with as much ease as normal.
