Dunfermline clinched a top six finish with a well deserved 2-0 win over Dundee. At the start, both teams played good attacking football and created good chance for themselves. The closest was a Lee Bullen effort which smacked off the bar early on. Dunfermline soon took the lead however, from a wonderful left foot shot by Barry Nicholson. After good build up play by the Pars, STEVIE CRAWFORD laid it off to Barry Nicholson who smacked it into the roof of the net in 33 minutes. Right at the end of the first half, Crawford came close when through on goal. After the break the Pars bombarded the Dees goal, and got their second goal from Scotland player, STEVIE CRAWFORD. A good flick by Bullen sent CRAWFORD right through, and he made no mistake putting the ball in the net. Dundee came back into it and Juan Sara missed a chance to reduce the Pars lead. However, the Pars held on to move themselves up to fifth.
