Dunfermline eventually took points off the Old Firm after a 1-1 draw with Rangers at East End Park. The game was an awfully drab affair in the first half with both teams not making many half decent chances. It took about 20 minutes for the first shot in the game and that came from Barry Nicholson after good play from the Pars. Then in the 28th minute, Rangers took the lead with a rather scrappy goal. McCann sent in the corner, and with the Pars defence watching, the ball bounced off Craig Moore's legs into the net. The half time whistle went and almost everyone was half asleep!! Dunfermline, to their credit, came fighting back in the second half dominating the game, with the departing Ian Ferguson taking control of the midfield. CRAWFORD had one good chance when put clear on goal but fumbled the ball miles wide. When it looked as though Dunfermline were going to lose their last game of the season up popped CRAWFORD to slam the ball home. After a nice flick on from Nish, he found himself one-on-one with the keeper and cooly slipped the ball underneath MacGregor. The result was probably a fair one, but the day belonged to Ian Ferguson as he got a standing ovation from both sets of fans due to his outstanding service to the Scottish game.

THINGS THAT PLEASED ME ABOUT STEVIE'S PERFORMANCE

Stevie appears to be linking up well with young Colin Nish, and could form a rather deadly partnership.

Stevie took his goal very well consideringhe had missed two good chances earlier on.

THINGS THAT ANNOYED ME ABOUT STEVIES'S PERFORMANCE

He missed a couple of great chances and he really should be sticking those type of chances away.

In the first half Stevie wasn't in the game at all and was very quiet.
