The Sunday before Memorial Day we had a churchwide picnic for our Sunday Evening service. It was wonderful for everyone to get together and fellowship. Some of the men worked the grills and the food was great - we had hamburgers and hotdogs and everyone from the church brought the extras.
It was the day before my birthday and they surprised me with a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. I was so embarrassed but God was watching out for me because noone was able to take pictures and my husband didn't have the video camera.
They set up the volleyball net and we all played using a giant beach ball. It was really funny but a lot of fun. And, the guys played basketball of course - they always play basketball but they had a good time anyway.
