Originally from the Midwest, Mary Lou has been interested in singing since she was in the choir in elementary school. In the late eighty's she began singing Karaoke and is currently hosting Karaoke shows.

In the 90's she became a student of voice and started jamming with Bay Area Bands which led to an audition for a Heavy Metal Project which in turn led to the forming of PlanetRockz. Her musical tastes range from Country and Western, Pop, Rock to Hard Rock.
