love is like a lump of gold,
its hard to get its hard to hold,
from all the guys ive ever met,
your the one i wont forget.
i do believe that god above,
created you for me to love,
he picked you out from all the
rest,
cos he new id love you best,
and if i die and go up there,
ill wait for you by the golden
stair,
and if your not there by judgement
day,
ill know you've went the other
way,
so ill trade in ma wings and all
da precious things,
to show my love is true,
ill go to hell to be with you!!!
this is dedicated to daniel (sexism:P)
A teenage girl's first crush is
. . . well, crushing.
Her body isn't hers, nor is her
mind.
She finds herself shivering, shaking,
blushing,
Weak, tormented, sick, and going
blind.
And why? Because some guy might
look her way,
Then cast his eyes as quickly to
the ground;
Some special one, for reasons she
can't say,
Whose voice makes her feel faint
when he's around.
But now my crush on you has been
returned,
And so the two of us stand on some
brink:
It can't be love so young, and
yet we've learned
Love does its will, no matter what
we think.
Slowly, slowly now--we mustn't
rush:
Let's enjoy this first sweet teenage
crush.
Cheating is a crime against oneself,
Hardening the insufficient heart.
Each finds in lies an easy path
to pleasure,
Abandoning the way that leads to
joy.
The choice is ever open, but the
gulf
Increases as the actor plays his
part.
No one who cheats can cherish long
his treasure,
Given what of hope lies can destroy.
**The nite was dreary as the rain
came down.
she said, "let`s go for a ride
away from town."
all thru the ride, she had nothing
to say.
it was almost as if something stood
in her way.
then suddenly it came, out of the
blue.
"my parents said i have to break
up with you."
"i`m sorry," she said, "i can`t
pretend."
"my parents said our love must
end."
she took off his ring as tears
came from his eyes
at the same time, the fear of losing
her began to rise.
with tears threatening to fall,
he held them back.
as he unconsciously parked the
car on a railroad track.
he wrote something on a piece of
paper
he held her hand and said, "read
it later."
he always wished they would never
part.
he said in a sad voice, "you just
broke my heart."
she opened the door & walked
out into the rain
thats when she saw the lights of
the train.
realizing too late what she had
sighted,
With the blink of an eye, metal
collided all she could remember was blood running red,
and someone saying, "i`m sorry,
he`s dead."
the ambulance sounded like an agony
cry,
then she read the paper, and it
said "without you i`d die."**
this is the sadest poem ever
My name is Sarah
I am but three,
My eyes are swollen
I cannot see,
I must be stupid
I must be bad,
What else could have made
My daddy so mad?
I wish I were better
I wish I weren't ugly,
Then maybe my mummy
Would still want to hug me.
I can't speak at all
I can't do a wrong
Or else I'm locked up
All the day long.
When I awake I'm all alone
The house is dark
My folks aren't home
When my mummy does come
I'll try and be nice,
So maybe I'll get just
One whipping tonight.
Don't make a sound!
I just heard a car
My daddy is back
From Charlie's Bar.
I hear him curse
My name he calls
I press myself
Against the wall
I try and hide
From his evil eyes
I'm so afraid now
I'm starting to cry
He finds me weeping
He shouts ugly words,
He says its my fault
That he suffers at work.
He slaps me and hits me
And yells at me more,
I finally get free
And I run for the door.
He's already locked it
And I start to bawl,
He takes me and throws me
Against the hard wall.
I fall to the floor
With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues
With more bad words spoken.
"I'm sorry!", I scream
But its now much too late
His face has been twisted
Into unimaginable hate
The hurt and the pain
Again and again
Oh please God, have mercy!
Oh please let it end!
And he finally stops
And heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless
Sprawled on the floor
My name is Sarah
And I am but three,
Tonight my daddy
Murdered me.
